Counseling for New Life

As the founder of Counseling for New Life, Young S. Lee is a Christian counselor who brings over ten years of experience to working one-on-one, with couples, or in groups, for those struggling with sex addiction, cybersex issues, pornography, infidelity, love addiction, co-dependence, and relationship issues. She has a passion for relationship restoration and enrichment, and provides relationship enrichment seminars and workshops. She speaks at retreats, churches, women's groups, and a variety of other organizations.

Ms. Lee has a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling and Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She also has a Master's degree in Business Administration Management. She has over 15 years of executive management experience in corporations and the federal government.

She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Her clinical training and education as a sex addiction therapist and a supervisor includes receiving her certification as a Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and, a Multiple Addiction Therapist (CMAT). As a CSAT and CMAT Supervisor, she provides the supervisions to those therapists who wants to become CSAT/CMAT. She has studied under Patrick Carnes, the recognized authority on Sex Addiction, at the Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals.She has been trained by Pia Melody, an expert on trauma, love addiction and co-dependency; and trained by Terrence Real, author and expert on relationships and relational therapy. She also received training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and uses in her trauma work.
