Are you engaged in, or struggling with, sexual behavior that is causing a disruption in your life or in the lives of others? Are you living a lie or a "double life"? Are you putting your career in jeopardy, risking divorce, or financial disaster? There is hope, and this is the therapy group for you.
Group Therapy is seen as the most effective and successful form of treatment for all addictive disorders. In this group, we will be using the book "Facing the Shadow" by Dr. Patrick Carnes.

MENDING THE SHATTERED HEART
(Group therapy for the spouse or partner of a sex addict)

Are you impacted by a spouse or partner who engages compulsively in sexual activities of any sort?
Are you seeking to heal a relationship marred or broken by addiction?
Sex addiction (pornography and Internet sex included) is quickly becoming one of the leading addictions in our country. As a result, thousands of men, women, couples, and families are in crisis. This group therapy will help you deal with the trauma that you have experienced due to your partner's acting out. We will help you define, develop and maintain healthy boundaries, empower you within the relationship, and create safety and self-care. We can help you rebuild trust and develop intimacy so your relationship can move forward.

AFTER CARE FOR MEN
A specific aftercare plan is crucial in addiction recovery. Core family and trauma issues need further healing. Learning about healthy sexuality, developing intimacy, re-building trust, and how to relate to others are the essential parts of restoring and rebuilding a relationship that is fulfilling and enjoyable.
AFTER CARE FOR WOMEN:
This is a support group for women dealing with their spouse or significant other who is involved in sexual addiction including pornography and Internet sex.
INFIDELITY IN MARRIAGE:
Infidelity in marriage can be the most painful and devastating thing that you may ever face. Because of the intense pain (anger, disbelief, fear, guilt, shame) and the deep sense of betrayal, it undermines the foundation of the marriage. An affair doesn't have to mean the end of a marriage. Learn how to understand how a marriage can be rebuilt after an affair.
Divorce does not have to be the inevitable resolution to infidelity. With counseling, time to heal, and the mutual goal of rebuilding the relationship, some couples emerge from infidelity with a stronger and more honest relationship than they had before.
ANGER MANAGEMENT:
Anger is a natural emotion, but it can be destructive when expressed inappropriately - in a hostile, aggressive manner that results in violence or negative consequences. This group therapy is for men and women who want to learn more effective ways of communication and/or appropriately expressing anger in the home or workplace.
